I recently bought a property through the Spencer agency on Ecclesall Road. Meg Hudson was the Sales Negotiator who dealt with the process from start to finish. I was very impressed with Meg throughout, she was professional, responsive and personable. ...
Whilst first and foremost she was working for the seller, I also felt that she was approachable and did her utmost to answer any queries and questions that I had going through the acquisition process.
As a side note, I look at a lot of properties online and I believe that Spencer take the nicest photos and it is arguably that which made me book a viewing in the first place; it is also for that same reason that I will be using them to advertise the property for rental. All round, an A* service!
I highly rate the team at Spencer’s, especially the wonderful Meg and I would without a doubt work with them again in the future. They were brilliant from start to finish and gave great advice along the way....
After switching from another agent in Sheffield I found Spencer’s marketing to be so professional and the communication was excellent.
Meg sold my property on the first showing and negotiated a fantastic price. She also worked wonders helping to liaise with solicitors and the buyer during the process and we were so grateful for her.

After having so many negative experiences with other estate agents in and around Sheffield city centre for the past 5 years, I cannot stress how relieving it is to have found Spencer's.
Every step of the process that we have been through with Spencer's has been dealt with in a most professional and timely manner - I cannot even come close to describing how nice this, compared to the stress of haggling and chasing we had to do with previous estate agents. A big shout out to Lynn specifically for assisting us with the moving in process and answering any queries throughout our tenancy.
If you're looking to rent in Sheffield City Centre, try your best to find a property with Spencer's - spare yourself the stress of opting for other estate agents in Sheffield where you're just treated as an inconvenience rather than an actual resident.
I initially approached Spencer's after having little interest with no offers on my flat that had been marketed by another agent. Spencers were helpful, responsive and provided a quality service. They provided some useful tips to help improve the appearance of the flat which inevitably made it more marketable. The quality of their photos was very good. Their marketing was excellent. They kept me regularly updated with regards to interest shown in the flat and I received a couple of offers in just over 2 weeks from the moment they listed the property on the market.
However, completion of the sale was prolonged due to the conveyancing process which took longer than expected. Meg who oversaw the sale was brilliant and constantly liaised with both solicitors and kept me regularly updated whilst doing so. Without her efforts the sale could have been delayed further.
I would highly recommend Spencer's.

Absolutely amazing service. We used Spencer's for our house sale and they worked tirelessly to get it over the line on what was a bit of a nail biter. Great pictures and ads. Worth every penny (and compared to other agents it was priced very competitively).
We sold our house using Spencer estate agents. Our negotiator was Meg Hudson and, from the beginning, she helped and advised us as we progressed to completion. Her cheerful and friendly attitude reassured us when things seemed to have stalled. She, or one of the team, were always available to answer queries and she constantly liaised with solicitors and the other interested parties.

Our initial contact was with Chris the valuer, who gave us sensible honest and conservative pricing advice that would help generate interest in the sale. Next up was Doug the photographer, who did a superb job on the photos. Before we went on the market, Lizzie our assigned negotiator, who has expert knowledge of our local area, came and visited, gave us some useful tips on how to conduct the viewings and took the time to become familiar with all the features of the house. ...
The quality of the photos led to an amazing response when the house was posted on the property sites. Fortunately, Spencer had the available resources to field the calls and get all viewings from high-quality prospects scheduled in. Amelia on reception did a stellar job managing the viewings diary and provided a report at the end of each day with an up-to-date schedule.
Feedback from the viewings was provided on a frequent and timely basis. Lizzie built relationships with the serious prospective buyers and handled some tricky negotiations with professionalism and aplomb, steering us to a brilliant result with a fantastic buyer.
The support didn’t stop there once we got to ‘Sold, subject to contract’. Star player Lizzie contacted us and the legal representation on both sides several times a week to keep the sale moving and got us over the line in the timescale both we and the buyer wanted.
We all know the market is crazy at the moment and there has probably never been a better time to be an Estate Agent, but we never felt like Spencer were too busy to speak to us or help in any way. We are very grateful for the service and support Spencer provided and would not hesitate in recommending them. 10/10.
